- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
Directions

1Place margarine in mixing bowl to soften.

2Then combine sugar, salt, flour and milk in saucepan.

3Heat over low temperature until sugar and flour is dissolved.

4Do not boil; remove from stove and cool to room temperature in fridge.

5When cool, pour liquid over butter and add vanilla.

6Beat with electric mixer until fluffy and of spreading consistency.

7Takes long to beat (minutes).

8Don't give up.
