Buttered Fresh Asparagus With Lemon Zest

- 1 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
- 1 lemon
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions

1Clean and cook asparagus.

2Meantime, melt butter and add the juice of 1/2 the lemon and the zest of the whole lemon, reserving some for garnish.

3Arrange asparagus in serving dish and pour butter mixture over.

4Garnish with more zest.

5I have found the best way to cook asparagus is in an electric percolator.

6Tie the asparagus in a bundle with enough cord to hang on the outside. The stalks are in the water and the heads steam.

7When it is done, just pull them out with the string.
