Ingredients

  • 4 carrots
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1/4 medium head cabbage
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 c. frozen lima beans
  • 3/4 c. frozen peas
  • 1 can yellow string beans
  • 1/4 lb. butter

Directions

    Cut carrots and celery into bite size pieces. Cook 10 minutes. Cut cabbage and add to mixture. Cook another 10 minutes. Add tomatoes, onion, limas and peas.

    Cook until done. Add yellow and green string beans and butter.

    Start with 2 quarts of water and add more, if necessary.
