- 1 c. buttery Crisco
- 2 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Cut Crisco into flour, using a fork.

2Stir in buttermilk. Roll (by hand) the dough into 15 large biscuits.

3Handle dough lightly, adding flour as needed.

4Bake in a hot oven (450°) until golden brown (about 15 minutes).

5Serve hot with butter, honey, preserves or gravy.
