  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 3/4 to 1 c. buttermilk

    Mix dry ingredients and cut in butter.

    Stir in 3/4 cup buttermilk; make soft dough.

    Knead dough 10 times on floured surface.

    Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut dough with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
