  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 5 Tbsp. chilled shortening
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Chill shortening. Cut into dry ingredients. Add milk. Knead a few times.

    Roll 3/4-inch thick. Bake at 425° for 12 minutes (ungreased sheet).
