Buttermilk Biscuits

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1-1/4 cup Buttermilk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

    In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Cut in butter using a pastry cutter or 2 forks. Slowly pour in buttermilk. Mix until just combined; do not over-mix!

    Dust working surface with flour. Knead dough a few times. Roll out to around 1/2 inch thickness.

    Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut into circles. Place onto prepared pan with biscuits touching each other. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
