- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Heat oven to 475°.

2Cut shortening until particles are like coarse cornbread.

3Add soda to buttermilk and stir into flour mixture.

4Turn dough out on lightly floured board.

5Roll out and cut with floured cutter.

6Place on baking sheet.

7Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
