- 1 c. shortening
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring
- 1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 6 eggs
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream shortening and sugar; beat in eggs.

2Mix dry ingredients together; mix buttermilk and flavorings together.

3Add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture to sugar/shortening mixture and beat well after each addition.

4Pour in greased and floured large Bundt pan.

5Bake at 350° for about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

6Cool about 15 minutes, then remove from pan.
