  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda (can cut down)
  • lots of pecans

    Mix all ingredients, except vanilla.

    Bring to a boil and cook until thick.

    Set off heat.

    Add vanilla.

    Let set a short time. Beat until thick.

    Drop on wax paper.
