  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Directions

    Cream butter and sugars, beating at medium speed, until light and fluffy.

    Add flour, salt, vanilla and eggs; beat well.

    Stir in buttermilk.

    Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until set.
