- 2 c. cornmeal
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. melted fat or oil
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix cornbread, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar. Add buttermilk, eggs and fat or oil.

3Fill a greased baking pan half full.

4Bake at 475° (hot oven) for about 20 minutes until browned.
