Buttermilk "Dump" Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 2 teaspoons almond extract or 2 teaspoons orange extract (1 tsp each of any 2 flavorings you like etc.)
Directions

1DUMP all ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer on medium speed for 15 minutes.

2Pour batter into greased Bundt or tube cake pan.

3Put into COLD oven.

4Set oven temperature at 325 degrees and bake for 1 hour 20 minutes, or until cake tests done.
