Buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. margarine (1 box of Whipped Parkay plus one Tbsp.)
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. softasilk flour
  • 1/3 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. butter flavoring
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions

    Combine sugar, margarine, and eggs.

    Combine soda, buttermilk, and all flavorings.

    After sugar, eggs, and margarine are blended, add buttermilk mixture (1/3 of it at a time) with 1 cup flour at a time, blending well.

    Start in a cold oven with a pan of water underneath.

    Bake at 350° in a buttered and floured Bundt cake pan, for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done.

    Using toothpick for testing.

    Remove from pan as soon as you remove from oven.
