  • 1 cup Butter
  • 3 cups Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Extract
  • 6 whole Eggs, Separated
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Buttermilk

    1) Cream butter and sugar. Mix in almond and lemon extract.

    2) Add individually each egg yolk until all are mixed in.

    3) Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together then add into the creamed mixture, adding alternately with buttermilk.

    4) Beat eggwhites until stiff and fold into the cake batter.

    5) Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a well greased bundt pan.
