  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 5 eggs
  • 2/3 c. Pet milk
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. butternut and vanilla flavoring
  • 3 1/4 c. flour

Directions

    Cream sugar, shortening and oleo.

    Add eggs one at a time. Beat well after adding each egg.

    Add dry ingredients, alternately with milk and water.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube or Bundt pan for 1 hour and 40 minutes at 325°.

    Start in a cold oven.
