- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 c. self-rising flour, sifted
- 2 c. Swans Down cake flour, sifted
- 1 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring (can purchase at Kroger Food Store)
Directions

1Beat Crisco and sugar for 10 minutes with electric mixer until creamy/fluffy (on creaming butter/sugar speed).

2Add eggs and blend.

3Reduce speed on mixer to #2 speed (blending).

4Alternate flour and milk, beating until well blended.

5Add butternut flavoring and blend until well mixed.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour in greased and floured Bundt pan or tube pan.

7Can be served plain or iced.

8Use Butternut Icing or any of your choice.
