- 2 cups cake flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar packed
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
Directions

1Add brown sugar, butter (or margarine), vanilla and 23 cup milk.

2Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed and then add rest of milk and the eggs.

3Beat 2 minutes more.

4Pour into two 8-inch greased and floured cake pans.

5Bake in preheated 350F (180C).

6oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Frost with butter frosting.
