Ingredients
- 1 34 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup granulated sugar
- 34 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients, set aside.

2Cream softened butter and sugars.

3Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

4Gradually spoon in dry ingredients.

5Reserve last 1/3 of dry ingredients and add chopped nuts to it.

6Stir remaining dry ingredients into batter.

7Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.

8Bake 350 degrees for 6 to 8 minutes.

9Allow cookies to set on baking sheet for a few minutes before removing to cool.

10(NOTE: Do NOT cool completely on the cookie sheet)
