  • 4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 6 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    In a bowl, cream the sugar and eggs. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.

    Remove from bowl and shape like a jelly roll. Refrigerate overnight.

    Cut thin and bake at 350° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Nuts may be added.
