  • 12 sq. graham crackers
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 or 3 egg yolks
  • 2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 or 3 egg whites

Directions

    Make crust by combining first 3 ingredients.

    Combine next 4 ingredients and cook on low heat until thickened.

    Add butter and vanilla after cooked.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Make a meringue of egg whites.

    Cover pie and brown at 350° for 20 minutes or until browned.
