  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 pt. milk

Directions

    Put butter in iron skillet; melt.

    Add sugar and stir.

    Mix flour and eggs together and add milk.

    Pour in skillet slowly on sugar and butter, stirring until thick.

    Add vanilla and put in baked pie shell.

    Spread meringue on top and bake at 300° for meringue to brown.
