- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix in top of double boiler the brown sugar and cornstarch. Mix the egg yolks and milk together well.

2Add milk and egg mixture to sugar mixture.

3Add butter and vanilla.

4Cook over boiling water until thick.

5Stir constantly, scrapping sides often.

6Place in cooked pie shell.

7Cover with meringue.
