- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
- 1 qt. milk
- 3/4 c. flour
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 (9-inch) pie shells, baked
Directions

1Cook the brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk until thick and brown.

2Mix the quart of milk, flour and egg yolks and add to the sugar mixture.

3Cook until thickened.

4Add vanilla.

5Cool and pour into baked pie shells.
