  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 frozen pie shell

    In a sauce pan, mix brown sugar, egg yolks and flour; add water and salt, cook over medium heat stirring frequently. After mixture has thickened, remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Pour mixture in pie shell and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
