- 7 tbsp butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 2 None large eggs
- 1 cup chopped raisins
- 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour, sifted
- 1/4 cup milk

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8 inch ring pan.

2Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in honey then eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in raisins then flour and milk. Transfer to prepared pan.

3To make the topping, combine flour and sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs then stir in walnuts. Sprinkle over cake and bake for 45 mins. Let cool in pan for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
