- 2 sticks Butter, Softened
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 2 pounds Powdered Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

1Use a hand mixer or a stand mixer with a whisk attachment for best results.

2In a mixing bowl, beat butter and granulated sugar together until creamy.

3Add in cream cheese and beat until smooth.

4In 1/4 to 1/2 cup increments, sift powdered sugar into the butter/cream cheese mixture. After each addition, beat until smooth. Repeat until all of the sugar is incorporated.

5Beat in lemon juice, 1 tablespoon at a time.

6Frost your dessert immediately, or store covered in the refrigerator. Beat chilled icing briefly before use.
