- 4 lbs celeriac, peeled and chopped
- 6 tbsp (3/4 stick) butter, chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
Directions

1Boil or steam celeriac until tender. Drain.

2Mash celeriac with most of the butter until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve topped with remaining butter and chives.
