  • 1/2 head cabbage, halved lengthwise and thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 apples, diced
  • 1 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 salt and pepper

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil, blanche the cabbage for 30-60 seconds, drain, rinse with cold water

    Heat oil and add onion, and cook until translucent.

    Add apples, cook for 1 minutes

    Add cabbage, water, salt, pepper, and thyme.

    Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.

    The cabbage and apples should still have some crunch.
