  • 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. milk or evaporated milk
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Cover cabbage with water and cook 10 minutes; drain.

    Make a white sauce from the butter, flour, salt, pepper and milk.
