  • medium head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. regular rice, uncooked
  • 1 can tomato soup (11 oz.)
  • 1/2 soup can water
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (16 oz.)

Directions

    Spread cabbage on bottom of 3-quart greased casserole.

    Brown beef and onion in a little oil.
  3. 3
    Add salt and pepper to taste. Add rice, spread over cabbage.

    Pour soup, tomatoes and water over beef, rice and cabbage.

    Bake in 350° oven for 1 1/2 hours.
