- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz. American cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook cabbage in salt water until tender.

2Drain.

3In large skillet mix soup, onion and cheese until cheese is melted.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in cabbage.

6Pour into an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.

7Lightly brown crumbs in butter.

8Sprinkle on top. Bake uncovered at 350°

9for 20 to 30 minutes.
