Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 medium head cabbage
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 c. Velveeta cheese, grated or chopped
  • 1 c. milk
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Cut up cabbage and celery; cook in small amount of water until tender.

    Drain and spread in a casserole dish.

    Combine Velveeta cheese, milk and flour in a saucepan; stir over low heat until smoothly blended.

    Pour cheese sauce over cabbage.

    Sprinkle with bread crumbs and melted butter.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° until hot and bubbly (start watching carefully after 30 minutes of baking!).
