Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 3 c. crumbled cornflakes
  • 2 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese
  • melted margarine to moisten cornflakes

Directions

    Slice cabbage thin; cook 5 minutes and drain. Put milk, soup and mayonnaise in a saucepan and heat.

    Combine crumbs and margarine in a bowl.

    Use 1/2 of crumb mixture in bottom of casserole.

    Add cabbage and sauce.

    Then add remaining crumb mixture.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until bubbly and hot.
