Cabbage Casserole

  • 1 small head cabbage, quartered
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/3 c. grated American cheese
  • 1/2 can French fried onions, crumbled
  • buttered bread crumbs

Directions

    Cook cabbage quarters in boiling, salted water until just tender; drain and dice in large pieces.

    Place half of cabbage in greased casserole.

    Add half of the soup, cheese and onions. Repeat layers.

    Top with buttered crumbs.

    Bake at 325° until cheese is melted.
