Cabbage Casserole

  • 3 c. coarsely chopped cabbage
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. uncooked regular rice
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water

Directions

    In a buttered 2-quart casserole, put the 3 cups chopped cabbage.

    Brown meat and onion; salt and pepper to taste.

    Add rice, tomato soup and water to mixture.

    Simmer 10 minutes, then pour over cabbage.

    Don't stir.

    Bake, covered, at 325° for 2 hours.
