- 6 or 7 slices bacon
- 1 large onion
- 1 small can tomatoes or tomato sauce
- 1 head cabbage
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. rice
- Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Saute onion in drippings until soft. Add tomato sauce.

3Chop up cabbage; add to mixture and steam.

4Add 2 cups of water; let it boil.

5Add 1 cup of rice.

6Let all cook for 20 minutes.

7Serve with Parmesan cheese.
