- 2 slices bacon
- 1 medium head cabbage, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 2 tsp. imitation butter flavored salt
- 2 c. stewed tomatoes
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms (optional)
Directions

1Fry bacon; drain and crumble.

2Combine bacon, cabbage, green pepper, onion, celery and salt in a saucepan and heat for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

3Add tomatoes and mushrooms if desired and continue cooking until mixture is slightly thickened and tender.

4Makes 4 servings, 50 calories per serving.
