  • 1 lb. bulk sausage
  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 lg. onion, chopped
  • 1 28 oz. can tomatoes, chopped or blended
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbls. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic
  • 10 c. shredded cabbage

Directions

    Brown sausage, ground chuck and onion-drain well. Add 5 next ingredients and simmer 5-10 minutes. Add cabbage.

    Cover and simmer till cabbage is tender. Serve with pinto beans and corn bread.
