- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 loaf whole wheat bread, toasted
- 3 eggs
- 1 medium onion
- salt, pepper, allspice and nutmeg to taste

1Select a large loose leaf head of cabbage, wash and take apart keeping whole.

2Keep the small center for the heart of the loaf. Parboil cabbage leaves in salt water a few minutes until it wilts. Drain in colander.
