- 1 medium sized head cabbage
- 4 Tbsp. butter or lard
- 1 lb. wide noodles
- onions
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Directions

1Trim and shred cabbage.

2Place in bowl and salt and pepper. Toss to distribute evenly.

3Leave it rest for 1 hour.

4Squeeze to remove liquid.

5Melt butter in pan and saute onions until light brown.

6Add cabbage.
-
7Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes or until tender.

8Take care not to let it burn.
