- 12 large cabbage leaves
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2/3 soup can water
Directions

1Partially cook cabbage leaves in boiling salt water about 2 minutes; remove from water and drain.

2Combine next 6 ingredients; divide meat mixture into 12 parts and wrap each portion in a cabbage leaf.

3Secure with toothpick.

4Place in baking dish.

5Mix tomato soup with water and pour over cabbage leaves.

6Cover with foil.
-
7Bake, covered, at 350° for 45 minutes.

8Uncover and bake 15 minutes.
