  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. chili sauce
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. sour cream

    Core cabbage and cook 7 minutes in boiling water.

    Drain, cool and remove 12 larger leaves.

    Cook meat, onions and peppers in oil until meat is brown.

    Add crumbs, chili sauce and seasoning; mix well.

    Put an equal amount on each cabbage leaf, roll up and secure with toothpick.

    Put in large baking pan, pour in tomato sauce and dot with butter.

    Cover and simmer 1 hour.

    Remove rolls to platter.

    Stir sour cream into sauce in skillet and serve with rolls.
