  • 16 cabbage leaves
  • 1/4 c. rice
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pepper
  • 2 onions, chopped or sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • juice of 2 lemons or juice of 1 lemon plus 1 can tomatoes

Directions

    Core head of cabbage.

    Place into pot of boiling water.

    As leaves wilt, remove them.

    You may wish to slice down heavier leaf spines.

    Cook rice in 1 cup of water and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
