- 1 large head cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 small onions, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
Directions

1Wash cabbage.

2Pull off 8 large leaves.

3Simmer leaves in boiling water.

4Cover for 5 minutes.

5Drain and spread.

6Combine ground beef and pork.

7Saute in butter until brown.

8Add seasoning and rice.

9Fill leaves with mixture.

10Roll up, folding ends to center.

11Secure with toothpick.
-
12Place in greased skillet. Add tomatoes; cover and simmer 45 minutes or bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
