  • 1 1/2 lb. ground pork or ground ham
  • 1 onion, chopped and sauteed in oil
  • 1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut, rinsed
  • cabbage
  • red pepper powder
  • salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice

Directions

    In a large pot, boil water.

    Place head of cleaned cabbage in water until cabbage leaves are soft and wilted.

    Remove from water and cool; separate leaves.

    Place 2 tablespoons of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
  5. 5
    Roll cabbage around meat mixture.
