Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 lb. pork sausage
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. cooked rice
  • salt and pepper and sage to taste
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 cabbage

Directions

    Mix well everything except tomatoes.

    Parboil cabbage head. Loosen and separate leaves.

    Roll mixture in each leaf.

    Put in large pan and top with tomatoes.

    Bake at 350° or 375° or cook on stove top low heat for 45 minutes or until done.
