- 1/2 c. cooked rice
- 1 large head cabbage
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. milk
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
Directions

1Remove leaves from cabbage.

2Dip in boiling water until wilted.

3Dry leaves.

4Combine the other ingredients except water and brown sugar.

5Place spoonful of mixture on each leaf; roll up and tie with twine.

6Brown cabbage rolls lightly in shortening. Place in casserole; sprinkle with brown sugar.

7Add water and cover.

8Bake at 350° for one hour or until cabbage is very tender.
