- 12 large cabbage leaves
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Immerse cabbage leaves in boiling water about 3 minutes until limp.

2Drain.

3Place about 1/4 cup mixture of rice, egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper and ground beef in center of each cabbage leaf.

4Fold in sides and roll ends over meat.

5Place in slow cooker (crock-pot if desired).

6Combine rest of ingredients and pour over cabbage rolls.

7Cover and cook on low 7 to 9 hours.
