- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. sage
- 1/2 c. rice (uncooked)
- 1 can tomato juice
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium head cabbage
Directions

1Boil cabbage leaves (approximately 6) until tender, drain and set aside.

2Blend all other ingredients, except tomato juice, then form into shapes to accomodate cabbage leaves.

3Wrap meat mixture balls with cabbage leaves and place in pan.

4Pour tomato juice over the ingredients.

5Cover pan with lid or foil.

6Bake at 350° about two hours.
